ALA organizes an annual “Library Legislation Day,” during which librarians from around the country come to DC to meet with their state representatives to advocate for library issues. As part of the program, ALA provides training on discussion points and strategies. ALA put together a video about the 2008 Library Legislation Day, which gives an overview of the event.
